What are the operating procedures and precautions for the electric platform?
With the development and advancement of technology, electric platforms are becoming increasingly sophisticated. Consequently, there is a growing demand for electric lifting platforms in the market. Of course, to ensure everyone’s safety, it’s essential to thoroughly understand the operating procedures before using an electric platform. In addition, proper preparatory work is required: you need to select a relatively flat construction surface and carry out appropriate treatments on soft soil foundations and uneven ground. Now, let’s take a closer look at the operating procedures and precautions for electric platforms!

When using the manual pump, first tighten the return oil valve knob clockwise, push the handle to the neutral position, and press the handle platform to raise the device. Once it has lowered, release the return oil valve platform to lower the device.
The electric platform can begin loading operations only after it has been left idle for 1–3 cycles. The center of gravity of the load should be positioned as close to the center of the worktable as possible. If the movable doors at both ends of the guardrail are securely locked, the platform can operate normally. During use, tighten the return valve knob clockwise, turn the handle to its neutral position, and once the motor is started, the system will run smoothly. Pull the handle to the upward position to raise the platform to the desired height; then push the handle back to the neutral position. As the lifting platform rises and falls, releasing the return valve allows the platform to descend under its own weight.
In current lifting operations, electric platforms are widely used, which is closely related to the characteristics and advantages of this equipment. For example, these devices are flexible and convenient to use, especially when performing work at great heights. Thanks to their ability to move both at high and low speeds, they are now considered safe equipment for high-altitude operations.
In daily use, the electric platform allows a single operator to easily perform actions such as moving forward, backward, and turning. This not only saves time and effort during operation but also makes it particularly convenient for large-scale high-altitude work at locations like stations and docks. Currently, this type of equipment is widely used in China's high-altitude operations field. In particular, it supports multi-point control and can achieve interlocking between upper and lower levels, ensuring safe operation. Moreover, it can be easily raised to greater heights, has a large load capacity, operates smoothly even during prolonged use, and is remarkably simple to operate.
The widespread adoption of electric platforms is closely linked to their distinctive features. For users, these platforms allow them to move to other work areas while controlling the platform itself—without having to step off the platform during operation. As a result, electric platforms are equipped with both walking and steering drive functions, eliminating the need for manual pulling or tugging during operation. More importantly, they don’t require connection to a power source, making them highly mobile and flexible. Crucially, they also enable high-altitude work, offering convenience and efficiency. Therefore, before leaving the factory, each electric platform undergoes rigorous acceptance testing and commissioning; all technical specifications must meet the relevant design requirements. When using the platform, simply connect it to a power supply—there’s no need for extensive adjustment of the hydraulic or electrical systems. Before operating the platform, it’s essential to carefully inspect the hydraulic and electrical equipment systems. As long as there are no leaks, the platform can be used safely and normally. When using the lift platform, ensure that all four legs are firmly supported (with the walking wheels lifted off the ground), and use auxiliary supports if necessary.
